About the Role
Chester's Corner Rescue Foundation is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Administrative Assistant to support our organization in its mission to rescue and care for animals in need. As a Volunteer Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our rescue efforts.
Assist with managing and responding to emails in a timely manner, directing inquiries and information to the appropriate personnel
Support basic administrative tasks, such as drafting emails and coordinating communications between volunteers and directors
Liaise between volunteers and management to ensure seamless coordination of rescue tasks and operations
Utilize strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation
Collaborate with team members on various administrative projects and initiatives
Requirements
Passion for animal welfare and a strong commitment to finding loving homes for animals in need
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Previous experience in administrative roles or a related field required
